Volunteer Advice: Be flexible on your education and remain open to learning

What is your day job? How did you get started in your field?
I work with companies of all sizes to help build out their technology roadmap. I started in IT over 15 years ago deploying technology networks after graduating college.

What kind of education, certifications, training were required to get where you are now?
Technology and Business degrees have helped me progress in my career working with stakeholders from all areas of the business.

How did you hear about Persevere? What attracted you to the cause and this organization in particular?
Through a colleague. I felt called to those role to help those seeking a career in technology for which I have a passion.

In your opinion, what is the most important work that this organization does?
Providing the willing work opportunities that may have been otherwise highly improbable

Do you have an anecdote about this cause/organization that really moved you?
Getting feedback from the students in the class that I have participated in give me joy.

What other hobbies and interests do you have?
Bowling.

If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Brazil has always been on my bucket list.
